Try the delicious traditional dish " Golabki"-Stuffed Cabbage.

Ingredients (serves 6-8)
2 heads of Savoy or white cabbage
2 tablespoons lard
1 large onion-chopped
2 tsp caraway seeds
2 chicken bouillon cube-crumbled
1lb canned tomatoes-drained and chopped
1 ½ tsp flour
2/3 cup sour or light cream

Stuffing
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
½ cup part-cooked rice
1 medium onion-finely chopped
3tbs chopped parsley
1 egg

Cooking
Mix together the stuffing ingredients. Separate the leaves. Blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes and drain. Using two cabbage leaves for each package, divide the stuffing equally between the leaves. Fold to make square packages.

Melt the lard in a large saucepan. Place a few small cabbage leaves on the bottom, then arrange the stuffed packages on top. Add the onion, caraway seeds and bouillon cube. Pour in enough water to come half way up the packages. Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the tomatoes, cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Transfer the packages to a serving dish and keep hot.

Discard the extra leaves from the liquid and return to the boil. Mix the flour with the cream and stir into the liquid. Simmer, stirring, until thickened. Stir in sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over the packages and serve.
